Hello all,
I had a question concerning a LS430 retrofit installed onto my '98 GS which has the OEM equipped HID. Will the stock ballast/ignitor be able to be retained and used on the new LS430 projector and D2S bulb? The OEM plug/harness for the OEM D2R bulb is fully compatible with the new D2S bulb right? Is there anything else I need to make this work on my car?

Our ballasts will power up and work on both d2r and d2s bulbs. Im doing the retro soon and also keeping my stock ballasts.

The D2R may be notched slightly differently than a D2S bulb, but that can be fixed. The ballasts will fire the D2S bulbs just fine.

Thanks for the quick respones guys! Just want to make sure I have all the necessary equipment besides the new retro'd headlights and D2S bulbs.
