Hello everyone, has anyone tried installing an MTEC HID kit on their 2010 RX350? Mine did not actually come with AFS and it only has the standard H11 bulb, so I decided to buy the after market HID Kit. Before proceeding, I wanted to ask everyone's opinion if where would be the best spot to mount it. ![Dunno](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/13879dunno.gif)
Thanks in advance.

Thanks iSuxel. You're right, engine bay is roomy but i thought i'd ask just to make sure i dont mess anything under the hood the fact that its lexus. I installed HID kit in my other car (toyota) long time ago but it was a different kit. I did not have to drill holes coz the kit came with an industrial adhesive tape. Mtec comes with brackets and screws, so im not sure whether to use those and drill holes or just adhesive tape.
If you have installed one in your IS, maybe you could let me know what you used to mount it.![Dunno](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/13879dunno.gif)
Thank you!

Thanks ExclusivIS, I've been sweatin' on those brackets for few days now just looking for holes where I can mount them. I don't think drilling new holes is a good idea either.
Thanks for your recommendation, I will stick to double sided tape and look for the best spot just like I did to my 03 celica. And you're absolutley right, MTEC is the way to go!
