I'm thinking of getting my HID/fogs upgraded to brighter lights. However, my IS only has 1200 miles. Do you guys recommend I wait until I do the 5k miles service check or it doesn't matter (upgrading to brighter lights will not affect the electrical system)?

I upgraded my fogs with the 6K Volt HID Kit with 9006 bulb from Steve at Xenon Depot. They are a Club Lexus Vendor and I love the lights. No need to wait. Pull the trigger!

I upgraded my lights I think around that time period and still have no issues at 18k miles. If you're worried about the electrical system you can get the regulator thing so that it hooks up straight to your battery for power.
