Default Hid drl

hey guys i got a lexus is350
i wanted to make my drl 8000k hid

could you tell me if this would work?
do i need a 9005 of 9006 hid package

Your High Beams are 9005 Bulb Type.

You could go with HID High Beams, but for DRL's they would be too bright I think. Also, the response time for flashing people is slower than a halogen bulb.

I think you would like this better:

And then you can purchase new Bulbs for your Low Beams and Foglights.

Foglight: 9006 type
3000K HID kit would look nice.

Low Beam: (If you have HID) D4S Type
6000K HID kit would look nice.

If you use LEDs, you lose the highbeam function. There is a kit that enables HIDs to be run as your DRLs with no problems though. I just forgot where I saw it thats all -.-"

i believe you need capacitors in order to run hid drl or else there will be flickering and stuff.

hmm i already have 6000k low beams and 6000k fogs... jus wanted a 8000k DRL so i guess Vleds will do

can you try finding that again? i would definately jump on that!
