Go with Xenondepot--I tell ya Steve is 100% straight up and will fix you up in a second if you have issues--He will call you and talk your ear off to help you fix any problems...lol
I have bought 2 kits from him and the Low beam kit has been in my car for over a year with Zero issues--Plug and play all the way!! I just bought another kit from him for my Foglights and again Zero issues and the light output is perfect--both of my kits are 5K and they match to a T. Go over to the first Gen GX and search HID--I posted up a DIY on the fogs and have pictures of the light and beam pattern

ohiois350,
The bulbs that were purchased from this guy went as far as saying "philips" on the base. All the markings were pretty much correct. However, the actual shape of the glass capsule was slightly different along with the color of the return wire. If you weren't in the business you would most likely not have known the bulbs were fakes.
Be very careful with this vendor.

I am thinking of upgrading the lights on my 2002 LX470 to either the DDM Tuning HID kit or the Volt HID kit. The DDM tuning hid kit would run me $52 shipped whereas the Volt HID kit would run me $114 shipped. What are the pros and cons to each kit? The price is a big difference and right now im leaning towards the ddm kit since it costs less than half of what the volt kit costs. Plus it has a lifetime warranty whereas the warranty on the volt kit is 1 year.
Im still on my stock bulbs and they are pretty dim. Also i remember that the stock bulbs used to be quite bright and then lexus issued a recall on the LX470. After i took it in for the recall the lights were dimmer. They installed some kind of a transistor. Would this affect the HID install at all? Also would a relay harness be essential and if so where can i find one?
I would greatly appreciate some help.

you'd better choose stock bulbs for your 2002 LX470 H1 hid for low beam, 9005 for high beam and H3 55W for fog lights...
i highly recommend vvme hid to you http://www.vvme.com
i once run 2 sets of vvme hid on my ES330 and Audi A4... no problems and they are also very cheap chinese stuff.... like ddm... may be $50 or $60 shipped to your door...
