Need Help HID 1999 ES300...
I am going to install HID's on my 1999 es300. I got drunk and thought it was a good idea to just buy a kit without doing my research first. I bought a low beam only h7 kit 55 watts 6000. Now I have a few questions:
1. Did I buy the right kit for my car?
2. I been reading about relay's, Do I need one?
3. How bad is it to use HID's in a non HID assembly?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure the installation part is a breeze, I just want to make sure everything is ok before I start. Thanks.

Finally got lights and got them all installed. Didn't get a relay, wanted to see how it worked without them first. Seems ok for now.
Next question: Where and how should I mount the ballasts? The sticky tape it came with doesn't hold very well and it did not come with mounting screws. I would like to use zip ties but can't figure out where to put them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
PS: I got the DDM slim ballasts, If anyone has these, what size mounting screws do they take. I really don't want to take them back out and bring them to the store to find out.

I would definitely recommend getting a relay harness. With a relay, the ballast is getting power directly from the battery instead of through the stock headlight harness; especially if you are running a 55 watt kit, you may run into heat issues later on.
As far as mounting, I can't help you there. I got HIDeXtra kits, and they came with a mounting plate and screws.
