arite my bad, but i need to clarify how to clean the inside of of my headlights....heres what happened....it was rainin real hard and the street was flooded and i was on my way home from work and the streets were so flooded that water was comin almost up onto my hood, so water seeped into and has stayed on the inside glass of my headlight and these new cheap xenons i got have little power as it is, let alone making it shine through some water so i needa get all this stuff dry....now i hear somethin about takin the whole headlight itself out and puttin it in the oven or somethin? it wont melt or damage the bulb at all or anything?

The bulbs would be removed before you heat the light. Don't turn the oven up past 200 degrees or you'll risk melting things. Make sure you've gotten out all clips and screws that hold the light together. Just put it in for 3 or 4 minutes at 200, then try to pry it apart with a screwdriver or something similar. Repeat this process until you can get the light apart, it'll probably take 3 or 4 heating and prying sessions. Take your time, if you push it too hard with the prying, you could crack something; so take it easy and you'll be fine.
I haven't done this to a 98 headlight, but I'm guessing it should work about the same as the 92-96 lights, the process should be the same.
Oh yeah, be careful driving through flooded streets; about 2 feet of moving water is enough to pick up a car. I'd hate to see anything happen.

Make sure and post results if you end up trying this...I've been thinking about clearing my lights & want to know how it goes w/ the 98.
Another thing you might try before doing all that is just removing your bulbs and blowing a hairdryer into the light for a while to get rid of moisture.

It has cleared up now, but if it did it once, I think it is going to happen again. Take some pics of your headlight so I can see what a 98 looks like so I can tell you if I think it will work
