Default Angel Eyes

Anyone with an IS have angel eyes installed? If you have some pics that would be great (DRL / Night shots ). Also how reliable are they? I've read they have a high fail rate in Lexus vehicles.

thanks.

In my opinion, "Angel Eyes" look very cheap and ricer to me.

I think you are better off having nice 6k HID low beams, 3k fog lights, and possibly some LED DRL's.

You can have LED DRL's like this:

Or you can install strips to look like the Audi. Both which look great, and not cheesy!

LED Strips:

How did you get the normal DRL's to turn off / what did you replace it with?

The lexus DRLs are the high beam lights set to low power and I really didn't want to spend another $300 buying new bulbs for just DRLs when I can just turn my night lights on instead.

You can wire up LED Strips to any light in the car or to a separate switch. As for the LED DRL's, Those replace the standard high beam bulb. They require a relay harness though:

No he most likely has 6K LED's for the DRL's and the LED Strips are also 6K, or blue, depending on the site/brand.

That yellow tint is probably from the LED light falsely illuminating the smoked halogen high beam bulb. Not sure though
