I was wondering how its done, I think you take off the black cover so you can get at the headlight, then you spin off that plastic thing that covers the level, but then there are some screws, do you just adjust thoes screws to level, or is it more complicated?
Edit: I did some research on the forum, it looks like egainer says that the rod kinda in the middle with no plastic is the vertical...

dood....
my headlights were so jacked.
they were aimed so low, i could prolly only see like 6 feet ahead of me.
i went to firestone and it was only $27.50 to adjust.
just do it.

Here's a easy way to adjust headlights-
Pull your car in front of a garage door or a wall. (about 6-8 feet away.
Adjust the aim screws for a even pattern of light on the wall or g-door. Your light spot should be about 2-3 feet above the ground. If your unsatisfied with the way the lights are shining when at night. Just readjust them. You won't break the adjusting screw if you turn it too far. I wouldn't bother with those clear, level indicators on the head lights. Most are broken on ES's anyway.

blux, did you ever get this done? what they told you was wrong. the bolt that you are turning, the one with the clear broken plastic actually adjusts the lights left and right. that is why the plastic thing says L and R. yes, park it in your garage facing the door or something and turn the large bolt that is just below the bright headlight canister. this will adjust vertical aiming, use your leveling bubble on top of the light to make sure they are level, and you should be set.
