So, I've been on and off with the whole idea of replacing my standard filament with those of a higher quality and higher kelvin rating. Having completed several forum searches and reading some reviews of others, I couldn't find one that was right for me. I almost gave up for a bit, however, I stumbled upon Tony at LuxuryMods.com and he mentioned that he was putting together a complete set. I showed him examples of other members who had completed this modification and what I was looking for, after a few correspondence he was able to provide me with the kit you see before you.
Total time to install was about 35-45 minutes. It took me a bit longer as I was putting together the photos to share with you.
Tools and parts required:
- Trim Panel Tool set
- Maps = 2x 18SMD panel
- Dome = 2x 18SMD panel
- Front/Rear Doors = 4x 6SMD panels
- Rear Entry = 2x 12SMD panels
- Trunk = 1x 18SMD (fits 24SMD with the cover off)
- Vanity = 2x 2SMD capsules
- Driver/Passenger foot = 2x 1SMD #74
- License Plate = 2x 4SMD Top LED
and lots of patience
Let's get started shall we? I'll spare you the details of replacing the bulbs themselves and instead show you a before and after as the replacement of these bulbs was a non-issue.
The Package
Contents of said package.
Door lighting - 4 x 6SMD panels

License Plate/Vanity/Foot-well - 2 x 4SMD Top LED/2 x 2SMD/2 x 1SMD #74
Rear Passenger Lighting - 2x 12SMD panels
I now bring you the before and after shots of the installation.
Door Lighting - 4x 6SMD panels
Rear Passenger Lighting - 2x 12SMD panels
Dome and Map lighting - 4 x 18SMD panel
Vanity Lighting - 2 x 2SMD
Foot-well Area - 2 x 1SMD #74
Trunk Area - 1x 18SMD
License Plate lighting - 2 x 4SMD Top LED
Overall, I am extremely please with the results as the kelvin rating ended up being exactly what I wanted (5000k). This present a nice bright white light that isn't riced out as so many other lights can easily turn cars into. Since I had no clue as to what lights I needed replacing Tony did all the leg work for me so that I didn't have to. The quality of LED lights are superb as the panels come with 3 light emitting diodes (not the standard 2) and have 3M tape on the back of all panel style LED's. This provides a much brighter panel set and allows you to stick them securely in place when you are mounting them in the lighting cavities. I will leave off saying that if you are in the market for upgrading your lighting in your vehicle and you needs some LED's, look no further and pick up a set.
Best Regards,
Mo

The only place I really like them is in the L-plate. The dome is a bit too "clinical" for my tastes. I don't wanna feel like I am in a doctors office in my comfy car. The L-plate though, is hawt.

Just got a kit for my RX. I didn't feel that I needed the large panels or anything. Luxurymods offers bulb replacements instead of the panels. They're brighter than stock, but I don't think they look as sterile as they aren't as bright. Still looks awesome Measured

Just a quick update, these lights have come in very handy while trying to clean the interior of the car. I couldn't be any happier with the setup as it is exactly what I was looking for. I have gone to turning off the dome lighting when you open the door as the foot lighting is ample enough, only turning on the domes when needed. The only light I noticed I didn't end up replacing was my glove box. That is being taken care of soon.
