Hello everybody. I installed my D4S bulbs for my GS 350 low beam this morning, and i turned it on earlyer while i driving, the low beam light turn out purple instead of white blue. Is that normal or happen to anyone with 8000k on the projector.

 

Color can vary between one brand of bulb to another, generally if you want white with a little blue I wouldn't go higher than 6000k. A lower color temp will have more output as well.

 

I think you may have been shipped the wrong bulb. 8000K, by its very definition, is pure white with a bluish tint. See my pics here https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...ht-colors.html

These are Garax 8000K low beam and 2500K fogs.

 

Here is my. It is day time. I barely cant while I was driving. On the ground I hardly see the light come out.

 

The bulbs can very but that doesn't look 8k. Definitely big mistake going with that temp in the first place. Don't want to go above 6k.

 

I bought it from some korean shop. They told me it made in Japan, and they rip me off for $80

 

Yeah sounds like you got ripped. U should consider GARAX HID bulbs.

 

Are there any shop around here? beside PROMAX over price haha
