I reached them from the engine compartment. It was a PITA, but
it can be done. I wear a size 12 ring. Smaller hands are really an advantage here. Just open the hood and look down...You'll see them.

The driver's side is harder than the passenger side. Going this way, it's mostly fingertip work for sure. Just pop the wiring harness off, rotate the lamp and remove. Reverse the process for installation.

They're 9006 bulbs, so you can practice with your low beams(9006) or your high beams(9005). They are all removed/installed the same way.

Some people have even removed the lamp housings or partially unbolted the wheel well and reached through. As I said, I just went through the engine compartment.

Good luck.

Default Not easy

I took out three wheel well liner screws, the outside one just above the wheel centerline, the one forward of that, and the one on the inside just forward of centerline. Used a strong bungie cord to hold the liner away while I worked. Wheel well liner is fairly flimsy and malable.

Dirty job and the inside of my left arm is still sore.

Two nuts on the back, one on the front (obvious) of the headlamp assembly that must be removed.
