Brightness
Install a set of PIAA driving lights and wire the relay for those so it's energized with the fog lamp circuit. The driving lamps will give you "high beam" illumination along with low beam and fog lamp "spread" and "close " (fog) illumination. And you can turn them off with the fog lamp switch when not on those back roads or if you happen to meet an oncoming car "back there".

You're lucky. The high-beams (9005) are
the easiest bulbs to change on the RX 300.
I highly recommend Sylvania SilverStar High Performance Halogen
bulbs. I've used them and they are great. Since I spent the big
bucks on an HID upgrade, I don't use my high-beams as often.
You can get SilverStars for $20-$25 ea. at most auto stores,
Advance, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, etc.

Good luck.
