PY21W and WY21W
I want to buy new turn signal lights and I see through the forums Philips Silvervision WY21W, but these seem to be hard to find...I did find one on ebay by a UK selling going for $41 dollars. However, I see many PY21W bulbs that go for a lot cheaper and seem to be the exact same thing. Could someone explain to the difference between PY21W and WY21W.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I was doing the exact same thing last night. The most obvious difference is the connector type. After about an hour or so of searching I also found out that WY21W is a European standard code so you might broaden your search for 7440 or 992 which are the DOT standard Codes but are the same bulb. Its pretty tough to find those Philips Silvervisions from a US vendor so I looked for an alternative. There are a bunch of cheap options on Ebay and a couple of expensive ones also. I finally decided to order a Japanese Brand XTEC from a UK vendor. Shipping killed the bottom line but they were recommended on the RX forum and they appear more chrome. I ended up paying $32 for 2 pairs.
