well still havent tried it ..but ya i think it may not fit..also when i disconnect the DRL wire theres a cap that i have to twist in order to gain access the bulb..but that cap is soooooo hard and i cant rotate it..just tooo tight..kinda like when the oil filter is put on very tight. just need a tool ..so is there any tool i can use to remove that cap?

Not sure about a "cap" as the bulb should just rotate and slide out.

As for the 9005 vs 9006, the mounting base for the 06 is larger and likely will not fit into the housing properly without modification. Couple that with the change in the tabs and the inner portion of the actual plug in portion of the base, and it's likely you've got to spend the whopping $15 to get a set of proper bulbs.

Keep in mind, also, that a 9005 bulb has 70% more lumens (light output) than a 9006. Not that you use a DRL for driving, but at dusk/dawn it could make a difference between seeing something in close proximity or creating roadkill. Your call.
