Default HID kit in my 92' ES

alright guys, im getting ready to buy an HID kid for a Benz off of ebay for $400. i've heard that it's fairly easy to splice the HID ballast wires into the headlight wires, and that's pretty much all you have to do. i've seen some pics of ES's on clublexus.com that have aftermarket HID kits installed and im just wondering if anybody knows anyone or has done it themself that can maybe give me some pointers. i plan on winning the auction today, so hopefully i'll have he kit in a couple days and get it installed by early next week. i'll be sure to post pics for all of you that are interested. thanks

Curtis

Are they 9006 bulbs or are you going to retrofit the housing from the Benz? As far as I know, it'd have to be one of these two or they won't fit easily and the beam pattern probably wouldn't be correct.

You can get plug-and-play 9006 kits that will easily fit the ES, I'd think this is the safest way to go, they'll plug into the factory harness with no mods and you'll know it's the right bulb. Just make sure you buy quality from a reputable seller, check the HID thread in the group buys forum or the HID tips in the tech section.
