Those who want to buy LED Fog light bulbs
Hi, family
I hated my yellow fog lights, so i decided to buy LED 6000K 9006 light bulbs for my RX330. So i installed them today, looks fine, because now they matching my headlights !!!BUT!!! but now it makes no sense to use them, cuz road lighting is ZERO. Now i missing my old yellow bulbs.

The key is to do a lot of research, and I mean A LOT OF RESEARCH on exactly what you're looking for and talk to multiple distributors to help yourself get the best price possible. Good luck. I'm on this same journey myself with my new 2012 Acura RL SH-AWD. I know exactly what I want, but I don't want error messages on dash board nor inproperly flickering lights. Like I said. TONS OF RESEARCH. Good luck...

It seems that none of the LED replacement bulbs for both reverse lights and fog lights offer much to be desired.
For the fogs, so far nothing beats good old wattage. Something like a 2400k (yellow) 55 watt or even 80 or 100 watt bulb works much better.
LED lighting has its place and is better in some cases, just not all,...... yet.
LED lighting overall is still in its infancy.

^-- Interesting point. LEDs are definitely still very young and still developing, some of the newer vehicles are coming out with LED headlights such as the new CT200H which is quite bright I might add.
Most of the bulb replacement LEDs that are seen will not give you the same output as the stock bulbs, but they definitely do give you a nice look. I would say in a few more years, there will be brighter and better LED alternatives than the ones that are available (we're definitely working to create some!).

Usually LED bulbs are not the best candidate for a Fog Light application - while they do look good up close they do not project far down the road and are not very functional.
I would recommend getting a pair of Putco Jet Yellow Halogen performance bulbs. We sell a lot of them and people love them. They provide you with deep yellow output which is perfect for fog light applications. Yellow does an amazing job at penetrating through rain/fog/snow. A few pics -

It all depends how your your tail lights are designed but the cree reverse lights put out wayyyyy more light than stock. I have some 5watt reverse lights bought on ebay and they definitely illuminate much more and actually provide usable light behind the car. A member in the LS forum has some 7watt prototypes he is using.

after my research.. i am in contact with ddm tuning for the hid kits for my foglights... i am leaving the drl alone because i do not want to play with my high beam and all.. and at night drl is not coming on... so i am good with just the hid fog light and the xenon light that comes stock for headlights... i might just put an led for park light....
