I don't have any of them off of the car. I had to cut a LOT! Post up a pic and I'll show you how much you have to cut.

Pretty anything that goes around the actually clear portion gets chopped up lol.

GOOD!!!!!!! post them asap patiently waiting. ive been so caught up shipping stuff i havent finished, but if theres a ton to trim ill start using the cut off wheel instead of sanding

When I was doing my fogs, I swaped the retainer capsule with jdm ones that a friend gave me. The HID s I got were 4500k 35 watt tho so white, I would prefer a 55 watt, so they can get most of the yellow out. My friend said that its because I need proyectors,but thats another story. Hope I helped.

How much did you cut in the rear to get 'em to fit the intrepid fogs? Also what year did the projector come off of??

theyre out of an es300 . I have an extra set if you need the usual homie hookup! . i didnt have to cut more than 3 mms. I cut lots just for symmetry . I was considering grinding them into circles but said screw it lol. if you want i can send them precut/dremelled. Id upload back pictures but im waiting for hids so i can drill holes before i seal them and install them.

Hmm...I'm debating on doing this or just saying "screw it" and go with some blazers. The blazers aren't that expensive from TRS. I think it's forty five for the pair

ive been fighting like crazy with my j30 projectors when i couldve bedone this all along! how do you choose bullb hole size?

ok steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve! i need your personal/professional opinion! for 45+ 35 for a cheap hid kit, I can get some blazers and plug them into my high beams as a retrofit instead of these monster J30s I've been working on


only problem is ive already spent 20 bucks trimming the j30s...but ehhh wth. cant win them all. if i retrofit with the blazers ill have a better chrome finish on the bottom as i can keep the original back shield AND the bottom shield thats attached to the lens.

lmk if you think i should spring for the blazer setup or continue with this project

what im also thinking is........ I can speak with the hid seller DIRECTLY and purchase 880 bulbs for the blazers but have him send wiring for a 9005 ballast connector so i can keep factory clips for my high beams?

OH! and all of those pictures are pre polish. btw i swapped out to chrome trim to go with the fog lights again. i think they actually look better!
