Best website to buy HID conversion kit?
I am planning to buy an HID H11 conversion kit to upgrade my fog lights and heard that many websites don't sell genuine things or don't offer good warranties on their products. I was wondering what do you recommend to buy a Philips HID H11 conversion kit or any other kit of similar quality

I'm biased but we have been selling HID kits since 2001. We have also been a supporting vendor on ClubLexus since 2004 =)
If you are looking for genuine German made Philips bulbs then take a look at the XenonDepot HID Kit w/ Philips bulbs. This kit uses our high quality Xtreme ballasts with genuine German made Philips bulbs that have been properly rebased for your H11 application.

I'm really interested in this kit. I have a few questions about it:
What is the relay for?
Can these lights be controlled the same way the stock fog lights are controlled?(with the off on switch)
Will they cause more stress to the electrical system?
They will be installed in fog lights housing, will they be hotter than halogen?
Do I need to splice cables to install them?

Hi,
As per your questions:
1) The relay that comes with the HID kit enables you to power the ballasts directly from the battery to ensure the ballasts always receive a constant 12V. With this harness installed all you end up using your vehicle's OEM headlight harness for is simply to trigger the relay in our harness on/off.
2) Your lights will function exactly as stock with the HID kit installed.
3) Xtreme ballasts are low draw meaning that you can safely power them directly from your OEM headlight wiring with or without the relay harness.
4) This kit will not run any hotter than your halogen bulbs.
5) XenonDepot HID Kits come with proper mating connectors. You will not get generic spade terminals that require you to secure them with electrical tape (common with other HID kits).
Hope this helps!
