What's a reasonable price they go for? and is Ebay a good place to purchase it?

My main objective is to make my nighttime reverse a bit safer and brighter since I have a back up camera, I've heard it helps a lot.

 

I think if you want to really make use of your reverse camera, go with the SMD type bulb with LED chips all around it. The projector style bulbs would be great for others to see you since they shine directly behind and are bright. The SMD 360 degree style bulbs would provide a even glow of light in the rear of the car.

I just bought a pair on ebay for 10$ shipped... mind you its a chinese-special, but i'm not about to spend 40$+ on over priced LED's.

Mine may not be a legit Cree chip, but the design is the same, and lights up half my street at night, in the dark.

 

have purchased from ijdmtoy and they are legit and very bright. havent bought the reverse light but soon will.
