Are you saying he gets the whole kit or just the Phillips bulbs for $200.00?
* FOR THE MOD * This is just a question not soliciting bluelex or his brothers buisness.
Just curious to the brand and quality of his stuff.

you can put the hid in the fogs, no problem, just get the 9006 bulb type and you are good to go.
and 200 bucks a set? that's so low. even a pair of normal 4100k hid bulbs cost more than that. you sure that's not just hid wannabe bulbs? it's the full kit (bulbs, ballasts, relays, wiring)? what brand is it? the bulbs are clear glass? if it has blue or purple tint on them, they are fake hid bulbs that don't emit true 6000k

but wait, something is wrong. if it's the oem hid setup on any cars (acura, mb, bimmer, whatever), they CANNOT be anything other than 4100k, so that means they can't be whatever blue or purple stuff. anything higher than 4100k is street illegal and no car manufacturer uses them

I'm driving with 4100k hids in my fogs for about 4 mo. No problem at all. Great lights (osram and philips balasts). I spend $260 Ebay + 3 hrs of my hard work. Let me know if you need how to information.

dude...i saw the coolest thing for the GS when i was rollin in my ES in the neighborhood...the owner had realli blue HIDs on both lows and fogs...looked really really nice...i just was just wondering if that person is on CL...he was on the intersection of 202 and 73 going down 73 West in the suburbs of Philly. It looked really really sweet...

I'm using D2s bulbs. I got the kit on Ebay for only $260, search for d2s. You need to do a litlle modification to fit it.
1. Remove round metal plate by unscrueing three screws on the back of the fog fixture.
2. >>If you try to place the bulb inside it is not going to fit, you need to remove a little bit of material on three sides of the bulb housing.
3. Carefully place the bulb inside appplying the pressure. The bulb will be sitting inside really tight.
4. Place the metal plate back.
In order to use the standart 9006 connector you will need to modify the balasts connector as well.
I was using double sided tape to place the balasts on the side of the bumper inside.
If I need to go back to 9006 setup, there is no problem. Remove bulbs, Remove balasts, place 9006 in, connect.
THe only parts which I modified, were the parts of the kit only.
