Default Glow-in-the-Dark Headlight Lighting...

Do they make headlight bulbs that GLOW IN THE DARK. Like, when you turn your car off, at night, it makes your headlight assembly glow? I just thought that would look pretty tight.....

hmm...i bet if you found glow in dark stick or sheet that's impervious to heat you could just put it inside your headlight assembly. Make sure it gets good and secure in there w/ a pair of needle nose pliers through the bulb entrance...but that's only if you really awnna do it.

I dont want glow sticks or anything. I meant some kind of 9005/9006 bulbs that not only serve as your headlight bulbs, but also glow in the dark....

Hmm, maybe I should patent this item.

wellz its not that hard. all you have to do is drill an extra hole in each of your headlight housing. then run a wire from your alarm to your headlights. inside your headlights just hook up 2 small LED's in the corner. so now when ever your alarm is enabled those LED will light up the headlights dimmly. depending on how bright you want it. i have seen it done before, and i gotta admit it looks nice, but it atracts way too much attention. especially on a dark street.

great idea. Ok, so if i hook them up on my alarm, they will only be on when my alarm is activated, right? Where are the wires located so that I can tap into it? Is it just a postive/negative setup? Wont it drain the battery if left on for a long time??

you can take it from directly behind the LED of the factory alarm. or you can find where your alarm box is located and tap it in there. you might need a meter. and try to find 12v or maybe even 3v when the alarm is activated. some of these led's are 3v. also there are different types that blink too. these don't drain barely any power at all. you can have these leds hooked up to a car battery for a couple months and the led will prolly burn out before the battery even goes down .1 volts
