exchangeable foglights for ES300?
I was wondering if i could exchange the foglights of my 99 for the clear ones of the 2000-2001. I'm pretty sure that they are the same size....what problems would i face if i wanted to do that?

The fogs should be H3 55w bulbs. Replacement with any H3 55w buld should be acceptable.
On my '02 ES I changed out the stock H3's with PIAA Xtreme White H3's. They glow emitted is almost the same as the HID setup. The stock were kinda yellow.
There is a thread and a picture in the Lighting section.
If you are talking about the foglight housing or glass, sorry i can't help you there.

Hey SJ, have a question about those PIAA Xtreme White H3 fogs you put on your car. Did you have to change out the fixture or was this just a matter of bulb change? Also could you give me a rough estimate of the cost involved in such a changeover and where I might find such a product? I too find the fogs on my ES 300 to be yellow compared to the headlights. I looked around for another thread that might already have these details but couldn't find, a newby here. Thanks

Brad, click on my profile.
click on "search for all posts by user" (upper right hand corner of box)
Go to page 5 of the pages numbers, bottom right corner above "Forum Jump" box.
Look for threads entitled:
"Help for 99 fogs" and "93 eS 300 Foglight Help"
(I would have set a link for you, but I haven't learned that yet."
All the info you seek is there.
quickly: just buld replacement, $63.99/pr, biggest time consumer was removing the plastic splash guard underneath. Go to www.PIAA.com, plug in your zip code and it will tell you who in your area carries them.
All work easily done by anyone, took less than an hour.
PM me or email me if you have any questions.
