I was right there with you GS4to4, I broke two of those damn M6 bulbs, one on the inside of the light! It took a hanger, tape and about 2 hours of fishing for glass!!!!

After about 3 months of the M6's they turned somewhat yellow. I took them out last weekend and put in Piaa's and don't like those either. All too yellow!! yuck!

I think Rominl has the best fit w/ the M4's....I will try those next

rominl,

How do u think the polarg m4 would look with the stock non-HID lights? I really hate the dim yellow light from the stock wedge bulbs. My car is Blue Onyx (dark blue), so i dont mind if the light will be a little blue.

well with stock hid and the m4, from up close you might notice that the m4 seems a bit "whiter" and "bluer". trust me it looks funny, coz' my car didn't have hid too, and i put in m4 with my stock halogen for couple of months before getting hid.

every time i turn on my headlight i think it's funny. the high beam housing is white compared to the yellow low beam, didn't look good at all imho. every time my gf saw my car coming she was like umm..... the lighting is weird.....

well, that was all good, she told me right off to get hid asap

the m6 is the one that goes into that little bulb position at the bottom of the high beam housing. it's only 15W. t he high beam bulb is 9005

and yes, m6 is the bulb type by polarg. try optauto.com

no you don't. by changing the little bulb to m6, when you turn on your headlight at night, you will notice that the high beam housing is pretty white, no longer yellow.

the high beam is not on unless you turn it on, so it has no effect. i only change the small bulb not the high beam, and i am all good

I tried the Polarg M6, and the Piaas, as well as some LED's. Still haven't found a good match to the factory HID's.
Any ideas? Anything new out there on the market?
Thanks
Try Philips 'Bluevision', they are the closest you are going to get.

I have yet to see Philips Blue Vision bulbs being sold in stores, I think they're only available for purchase through the web for now.
