hid conversion 4300k vs 6000k which is closer to oem

hid conversion 4300k vs 6000k which is closer to oem
Thinking that it was not a big deal I bought a gs300 non-hid. (that was a year ago) well this past weekend I bought an rx300 with hids and love them, so that brings me to my question. I’ve been reading a lot on this site and came to a decision that I want to purchase a conversion kit for my gs300 but with all this controversy about the 6000k and 4300k I just don’t know which one to buy, I hear that the 6000k looks like those fake blue halogen bulbs but I could be wrong and then I hear the 4300k turns yellow after awhile so if someone could give me a good way to go either the 6000k or the 4300k I will be in the debt.
p.s. I always see people post there picture of there 6000k conversion but never the 4300k why?

4300k hid is the stock oem color, so it's not that surprising, maybe that's why people don't post it u?
anyway, 6000k is no way close to fake hid, you can tell when you see it that it's real hid, and it gives out those little blue hue that's like the hid on bimmer and audi.
if you want something close to stock, get the 4300k and you should be happy. and over time, actually all hid bulbs tends to get bluer and bluer, and suddenly turn very blue, purple, and die

I bought the 6000K phillips HID kit for my GS from Autolamps-Online and did not like the blue/purple look. Too many people made comments about how the lights looked cheap and too blue. Even my dealer asked me about them and said "what did you do to your headlamps? They are really blue." Anyway, I exchanged the 6000K bulbs for 4100K and like the way they look at night much better. I am a neutral type of person and was primarily looking for the performance not the color, 4100k is a little brighter than 6000k. I also found that the purple/blue color created alot of problems for me when driving in the snow, it was too blinding. I find that the 4100 bulbs are brighter and not as purple/blue as the 6000k's. My lights now look like stock HID except brighter for some reason. Hope this helps you decide. Also IMO the 4100k match the polarg M6 bulbs (running lights) better than the 6000k's did.

Yea, I noticed. I had to peel it back a few times and I believe that caused damage. I followed the instructions to the letter and still had alot of problems. The headlamps are what turned out like garbage, the fogs and high beam/drl lenses were not that bad. If I knew it was going to be this difficult I would have have taken it to an installer. I e-mailed them and they want another $15.00 for one piece . I basically told them they can pound sand for another $15.00 !!! Thanks for you help Rominl, I appreciate it. If I get another piece I will PM you for some tips....

in short, a lot of times people got dust inside, or not enough solution, or didn't use enough force to force out bubbles, or left behind too much solution.

yeah sure, keep us posted, i have no problem typing up a diy (without pics though) and tips on how to do it. the high beam and fogs are relatively easy coz' they are "flat", the lowbeam is stupid actually peeling it out shouldn't hurt as long as you spray enough alcohol solution again before sticking it back, i am sure i did that for at least 10 times on my headlight.
