piaa is very high quality stuff, i like them a lot actually. they give out very pretty light output and you won't easily think that's fake ugly honda civic stuff. i had the platinum white which is not the best. if you want white, try the plasma white or extreme white. watch out for wattage though

9006 is the bulb type. Xtreme White or Plasma White as rominl mentioned are 2 of the models by PIAA. Xtreme White will give you a more whiter color than your stock halogens and Plasma White will give it a whiter color with a hue of purple/blue.

Thanks for the replies
Does wattage become an issue on the factory replacments from any aftermarket. What is the factory wattage .. Has anyone had a problem. Electrical issues are the worst ..period Any input would be appreciated

i believe stock bulbs are about 51W, and the wiring is designed for that too. those aftermarket bulbs they run at 6xW usually and some cheapo ones they even run at 80W

i put 9006 piaa xtreme white plus bulbs into my sc, and they looked pretty good at night - a nice white when looking at the car, but they light they actually emitted was still yellow around the edges. during the day they look like regular yellow bulbs. id say they arent worth the money. i recently put modified a set of xtreme white plus 9005 high beam bulbs to fit into my lowbeam harness, and while theyre a little brighter, they still emit the same color. im currently trying to find a good quality 9005 bulb thats not over 70W and emits a good, bright white or bluish white color both at night and during the day. i had a set of Hiper HB4 9006 bulbs that gave me a perfect color, but they were 80W and melted my harness and weren't that bright to boot.

Don't get PIAA bulbs, they are overpriced and short life. I had a pair of 9006 Platinum white installed in my 850 and only last for several months.

They claimed that the 55W bulbs would give about 85W or more output and that was nonsense!
