I want to replace the fog lamp bulbs on my Lexus IS F, So... I'm trying to research and figure out which bulb would be close to the legendary IS300 Yellow Fogs?
- Which Bulbs would have the best color, output, and reliability?
honestly, Ive tried a bunch of the cheap brands, no names, recently scored some Hella bulbs...
It took me 6 sets of bulbs, but finally got the yellow I want. They're in my DRL/Highbeams, as I have overlay/yellow on my fogs, but still. Wicked yellow - Hella quality which cannot be beat and arguably better than PIAA by a long shot.

Good luck!
Which Hella bulbs, are they the optilux... do you have a link to where you got them?
I currently run Nokya Hyper Yellow as my DRL/hi beam and used to have the same set up on my fog lights till I found Kensun 3000K HIDs. They have a great output and they warranty their products.
Here's a video on a ES300 with the Kensun 3000K HID set up:
^ I just don't want to go through the hassle of HID, like the simplicity of bulbs, and this thread is to help other members out on which bulb would be the best... also closest to the legendary Lexus yellow fogs (LS400, GS300, IS300, etc)
