does anyone have instruction on how to install the high and low beam headlight bulbs on a 1996 sc400? i have always had dealer to install. i would like to know how to do myself. they look quite different than on other auto's. thank you

the sc's use 9006 bulbs for the low beams and 9005 for the high beams. the design on both styles is almost identical, save for a couple small little cues. buy a set of bulbs and look at the base of one and youll notice 3 edges that spout out from it. these lock it into the housing on the back of the headlight (the back of the package of bulbs should have a diagram of some sort). its a lot like locking/unlocking the bottom of a mouse in order to get the ball out. you fit the bulb in, turn it to lock it in place, then snap the red harness onto the bottom of it where the two prongs are. very easy to do.
