I have a question. A shop has Philips 4300k and 6000k HID kits for low beams. They want $250 for either one. That's installation and everything. Good price? I'm not sure the exact kit but this is what they quoted me. Are there more than one?
Also, do 2000 ES daytime lights run off of the low beams or highs?
There are a few more ways to identify the fakes vs real philips bulbs, however, the above picture is the easiest way to identify the real vs fake bulb.
I've purchased rebased Philips bulbs from Xenon Depot aka KBcarSTUFF, they are legit!
I have a 2014 IS350 F sport AWD and it comes stock with HID's, I believe stock are normally 4300K, correct? I have recently replaced the bulb with a 6000k bulb (not naming brand as they are neither brand that has been discussed in this thread). However I find the light output seems weaker than stock, aka it seems less bright from the beam onto the road and the projector cut line is way less definitive (especially I do lots of highway driving with no street lights). Please help. Thank you.
6000k bulbs produce approx 20% less light then 4300k bulbs (assuming the quality of the bulbs are equal).

Thanks Steve! From your experience, what brand/combination would you recommend for bulb replacement on stock 35W ballasts for the maximum light output (brightest) with a hinge of blue (that's why I've been looking for 6000K)? I hear Osram Xenarc CBI is bright and reputable brand?
Yup - The CBI would be a good choice. We will have these for sale in the very near future.

Please do let me know as these are what I'm primarily looking for, maybe a few other items too while I order from your site. Please PM me once the "near future" sale is available then I'll place my order immediately, and not clog up this thread.
Thanks Steve for your help and advices!!
