Newbie quesion about HID's and Colors etc
Hi,
I just got my GS400 and it has the problem with condensation in the headlights. I was going to replace them with Factory headlights. I can get them for $260 ea.
Since I know nothing about these, are the factory lights the way to go? Is all the discussion only about the bulbs used or is it about the actual assemblies? What bulbs should I use? I still have the bulbs from the bad headlights that I can use but it appears as though everyone is tossing out a bunch of different numbers that correspond with the light intensity and color. Can someone please tell me what is recommended and why?
Thanks in advance.

okok, a lot of uncertainties here. your car doesn't have hid now, yes or no? if you don't have it, then you can get new housing, and if you want hid, then you need to get the 9006 hid conversion kit. you can also directly get the housing WITH hid, but it's very expensive and youwill lose the autoleveling

That was $260 ea for assemblies only, no bulbs. BUT the $300 JDM's was $300 for both Left and right. So my choice is $520 for factory or $300 for JDM. That's why I wanted to learn about the JDM's to see if they were good quality and if they warranted me buying them and saveing $220 over the factory units.
