Default HID 12k kit question

I did some searching but didnt find anything about 12k HID conversion kits, Do you think this kit will pose a problem for me ? in terms of heat and all, and what color should i expect? i know this kit is brand new but i see that most members use 6k kits why wont they recommend going to higher kits?

12K doesn't mean more light output. Check out www.intellexual.net , he has a comprehensive write up on what HIDs are and the importance of the K rating.

VERY big problem indeed..... 12k is the color, nothing about power, etc.... it's very dim, VERY blue, and useless..... better off just stay with halogen. only ricers put in anything higher than 6000k imho

for me, i have philips 6000k and love it.

stock hid are 4300k

Yes, anything above 6000k would be too blue and too dim, resulting in lost of light. In addition, they hurt your eyes after a long road trip at night because of the blue tint.
