Whoah, I thought Philips was the best. McCulloch looks OK but I'm not sure if it's built the same way Philips components are. The way I look at it is this: Philips is the OEM supplier for HIDs for many vehicles. Lets say brand X company bought crappy bulbs and ballasts to cut costs. Now they've got 10,000K faulty ballasts and bulbs that failed before warranty they've got to replace. So yeah, I just go with what works . I heard Catz is pretty good as well but more expensive than a Philips 6000K???

Yes...I did. I wanted it shipped to my office....unfortunately, my office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. USPS tried to deliver on Saturday afternoon. Hopefully, they will try again on Monday.
I will take pics and post as soon as I can install them....... Wife set up dinner with out of town guest for Monday night

Philips ballasts are not crappy. I'm not sure where you got that from...
And HID kits like the ones from autolamps or HIDs4less use a ballast connection which eliminates the need for a seperate ignitor. They don't use the factory round plug - instead, they utilize a two wire connection to give a lot of space between the ballast and bulb. The main ballast from the CATZ HID is bigger than the Philips 1pc unit already...then you gotta find a place to mount the seperate ignitor.

Catz seems like a good system. The warranty is pretty good - 1 yr on ballast and igniter. My only comment is that the bulb is NOT warrantied. Catz recommends that you test the bulbs before you break the seal on the bulb capsule. Once the seal is broken.....you are on your own, dude!! Not sure the bulb brand. Anyways, if you need a new bulb, they will sell it to you at cost..... I wonder how much is "cost"?
