I didn't swap the bulb, but I did swap the ballast and this one is defective...
Banana, I did not turn on the ballast w/o the bulb... surely it'll fry the ballast.
Anh, you are in Austin right? What kind of rims do you have?

I'll keep you guys updated when I recieve the ballast.
So, you bought the entire kit from Jason. I thought you just needed 1 ballast.

Hey gang....would it be simpler to just buy a ballast to replace the defective one?

well, if he got the kit from jason there is still warranty, so of course use it otherwise if later on one of my ballasts blow, i'd see if i can get just one from jason, or from autolamps

Guys, I just wondering where y'all put your ballast in?

Do you guys use duct tape or something else? Any pictures?

Default hmm

New ballast that I have been waiting for still has some problem. I contacted Jason and he's going to send me some more stuff to try on. Hopefully it'll back on soon......

Yo Hypermagic -

Are you sure its the ballast? Maybe its the connections? Take some pics of your connections...I'm sure Rominl, Brendanlim, myself or anyone else who has installed these kits can help decipher the prob.

Pssss....a tip for you....don't mount unless you get it to work.

Default Back

The last kit I recieved from Jason has different style than our 9006 HID kit.

However I get the HID back to work now. I think he is a good seller IMO.

Thanks for y'l inputs.... I guess this post can be closed now?

Anybody know where can I get replacement bulb for HID? not that cheapo bulbs sold in ebay w/ 100+Wattage.

autolamps-online.com?

you mean aftermarket hid kit bulbs, not the normal d2r or d2s right?
