Philips 6000 K, whats the deal w/ the color? I called 3 places today!!

Philips 6000 K, whats the deal w/ the color? I called 3 places today!!
Hey guys,
I don't know what the problem is, but on CL I am told that the Phillips 6000K gives off a blueish white beam. The 3 places I called said the Philips w/ Phillips bulb comes out white/ purplish. They all told me if I want a bluish beam, I should go with Hella. I am confused!! Please help!

At first....the first few hours after I installed them....they were more purple in color. Now, its more bluish with a hint of purple when you look at the housing up close. From a distance....its pure white light.
