Hey,

All these names for me, lol. I'm actually in the Northeast but that's alright. I just ordered up the 6000K for the 9006 application for 450 shipped. I like Jason's guarentee and am looking forward to a good experience. Thanks for all the help everyone has given.

Got the 6000K Lights today for 455 shipped. Jason is quick with his deliveries. Install should be tomorrow or this weekend.. anybody familiar with the length of time needed?

Edit: I did a quicksearch before going to work now before 10 and saw Rominl was going to do a tutorial awhile back.. anyone have info on it or where it's located?

If you know what you doing....probably 1.5 hours. But if you are like me and want a clean install....it'll take much longer.

TIP: I suggest you plug everything together and test out the lights before you zip tie them down.

Good luck.

the diy i did is up but it's only for paid member. it's not that hard to install anyway, once you take out everything it should be pretty obvious just make sure you line up teh wire, red to red and black to black

SouthernSunGS -

Did you see what his 10 minute install look like? It was pretty spooky looking.

He cleaned up the install later on....and may have even replaced the battery power cable for a longer one.

From start to finish.....Im pretty sure it'll take longer than 10 minutes.

Get it....you wont regret it. I luv my kit. By far my favorite mod. I get so many compliments and lots of turning heads.

Don't be afraid. Lay it out on a table before you install....that helped me understand which connections to make because the instructions from the kit kinda sucked. I did pop my fuse once (switch in polarity).

Check out this thread....I posted alot of pics on my install...review all pages to get a better understanding.

Good luck!

Instructions do suck...or at the the ones that came with my kit. I think it's because they don't refer to the new wire harness. Rominl mentioned that his wire hookup is a bit different...maybe the instructions refer to the older style harness?

But honestly though, it's pretty simple to hook up..not much to it really. You are going to be spending the majority of your time making everything look neat as PHML pointed out. I ended up taking out my bumper and mounting it in a nice spot to make everything look neater.

Yep....now at first glance....it does NOT look aftermarket.

The wire loom over the ballast to xenon bulb connection wire is a nice touch. I'm on my way to the hardware store to pick up a pair for my ballasts.
