i wouldn't suggest it. just buy the ballast and buy phillips 9006 bulbs. or buy an entire kit. but don't try to make D2 base bulbs to something there not. first off all the fitment would suck no matter what. and the seal would suck even more. also even if you did fill the surrounding with silicon the heat would probly melt it and if you ever need to change bulbs it would be a mess. i was contemplating doing this back 1-2 years ago before all these HID kits came out. its a big no no
