6000 K is not ricey at all. If you buy Phillips, it is basically pure white head on. When you look at it from the side, it changes color from purple to blue. Thats most likely because I have projectors on my car. If you go with Hella HID kits, they appear blue. If you want to be safe, purchase a Philips kit 4300k. Just make sure you are 100% sure you want it or else you will regret it like most people have regarding 4300 k.
