These are the surface mount led's commonly found in the needle's of your lexus speedo clusters. I'm interested in what colors people like you may choose from the list provided. This pic is the bright green

To the needles?
Here's what i'm working on right now.
I have aquired a new SMD source and are curently undergoing testing on smd replacements. SMD's are usually no bigger than 2mm and are the same led's used in the stock cluster needle's. My source has sent me red, blue, and green and I am soon to be experimenting with the new SMD replacements this week. This means custom built units running the same factory led's with all new colors.
For those that don't particularly care for the waterfall effect, the new SMD's will perform as well or better than the stock SMD's found in the cluster needle's from the factory. New epoxy's are being tested so the process is reversible if repair is ever needed. The major factor being weight, I have previously strayed away from heavy adhesives such as silicone and epoxy have previously weighed the needle down and caused extensive calibration, the new epoxy being tested is twice as strong, twice as light and unfortunately twice as expensive.
Exciting things are happening in the lab right now, and the next two weeks are going to bring enourmous advancements in the lexus clusters needle advancements. By June 28th I have set a strict dealine goal to have the needle's in SMD packaging with ever color combination possible, including multi color needle's. By stepping every other SMD in the needle, I can arrange a combination such as blue/yellow checkered or even half and half. Imagine the needle as a yellow needle with a blue tip!! How about a blue needle with a yellow tip? How about a red needle with a yellow tip?
Suggestions needed, what would be a good combination? When i get it perfected, i'm going to do a writeup here so everyone can either take a stab at it, or at least i can try and help walk you through it. My goal is to eventually work through every bug Lexus has with the internal electronics system so we here at CL have nothing taboo to us anymore and everything is an obtainable goal.
