What's the difference between Ultinon and regular Philips 6000K?

yeah, I agree. Technically they should be the same unless you get fake ones.

Okay, going to clear this one up..

If they are made by Philips (real) and have a rating of 6000k then they are Ultinons.

Philips 6000k (real) = Philips Ultinon

They are not two different things.

What you should be worried about is Fake 6000k from a no name brand that paints their HID bulb blue to achieve that color temperature.

These are all kits that are sold by independant suppliers. If these are genuine Philips parts, then twhat they do it to buy Philips ballasts, Philips bulbs and their own wiring, plus rebasing the bulbs.

Note that Philips ballasts are in fact Hella ballasts. Industry-wise these Philips, Hella and Matsu****a/Panasonic are the best ballasts.

Philips will soon introduce their own HID kit in Asia under their own Philips brand.
