Question put higher color temp in stock hid?

I have stock '00 HID's for my ES, and while the light up a blue/purple after 10 -15 seconds they get more white. I know this is normal but I'm concerned about putting 6000k bulbs in and either losing light or making them TOO blue. Has anyone ever put 6000k's into their stock reflector-type HID's?

I am also intrested in the article about painting the ground wire and base blue to get more color, does this work???
thanks!

I believe a lot of the 98-up GS guys have swapped in the 6000K Philips Ultinon bulbs for the factory ones. D2R's should be a direct drop in on the ES, too. Check out pics of BrendanLim's GS for pics and video of the color.
