the 4300 are philips brand too... When i was installing it, i could only get one light to fire up... the other one wouldnt. then the other one would fire up and this one wouldnt. But i found out what the problem was.... I didnt ground it well enough. so i moved the ground to another spot and both worked fine... These lights are great, great color, not purple at all.

Thanks for the pic, Invisibleman. I've always wanted to see what the Ultinons look like on a 92-96 ES.

Go with trusted names such as Philips, Hella, and Catz.

If you are going to spend money on a kit, its better to do it right the first time!

Im sure others will agree with me that Philips and Hella are the most used on CL.

If you are interested, please check out www.kwimports.com. That is where I purchased my kit. Please tell Ken that """BRYAN with the LEXUS """ referred you. That way your order will be processed quicker.

We just bought the 98 GS4. It has factory hid. Will the phillips 9006 6000k kit match the factory hid?

Stock is 4300k so it is basically pure white. WHen it is reflected, it looks a lil yellow when compared to 6000k. Here is a pic of the HID's. My car is in the middle with 6000k, car on the left is a 98 gs 400 with stock hid, and car on the right has halogen.
