I'm in the same boat, sort of debating between 4300k and 6000k. As was pointed out to me, because I'm gonna likely be dropping a kit in my stock halogen housing, I'd better go with 6000k, since the halogen housing is meant to reflect halogen only, and tends to turn even HID a bit yellow, in its display. Anyone think otherwise!?

www.autolamps-online.com

Guys better hurry
I went to Godfather Customs here in ATL yesterday, and they confirmed HID's will be soon meeting their demise. I need to stock up on bulbs.

And on my SC, the are a pure white with only a *hint* of blue when on, when warming up, very deep blue.

You can't go wrong. You will wonder how you did it

I believe it depens on what kit you have, but if theyr'e the same bulb and you're sure of it, you should be fine!

Yes, you can use a 6000k bulb even when your kit originally came with a 4300k bulb. Most people prefer certain brands of bulbs. In my case I prefer Phlips bulbs because it is not blue like the hella bulbs, rather a a little hint of purple.

4100k and 6000K still in debate, I see... Well, I have installed my 6000k and love it. I totally prefer it over the 4100K. People say that it is too purple or blue and makes it look ricey, but it is actually very white. Blue at warmup and bright white with a hint of blue like the BMW and Audi lights. I find the 4100 K, white w/ some green in it. "supposedly" 4100K is supposed to get less green and more white with more usage. but not sure if this is true. Just my opinion.

i just installed the 4500k hids on my car and i prefer the 6000s too. they look nicer on the floor. well my hids are kinda busted and look yellow but still. i think the 6000's are better. i put my car up on the wall against 3 of my friends car with 6000's and theirs looks so much better.

6000K all the way.

Although in theory the 4100K are brighter than the 6000K, I think the difference is almost unnoticeable to the human eye. I love my 6000K. Much improvement over halogen with a hint of blue like BMW/Audi/Acura. With 6000K you get plenty of brightness and a distinct look without being ricer. I have had nothing but great comments about my 6000K HIDs.

Quick Reply: HID's: 4300K or 6000K
