My avatar has a pic of my projector lights with Philips 6000 K hid . I have those HIDs on my low beams and my fog lights have sylvania silverstars.

. 6000k HID in the yellow housing, when it is lit up, do you see PURE bright yellow or is it a mixture of blue/yellow? I was thinking of going with 4300k with the yellow housing, this way, it would look more of a PURE bright yellow.

what i have noticed is that most of the people with GS's prefer 6000k and the other lexus owners prefer 4300K... does it have to do with the light housing? Projector vs, reflector?

Probably just personal preference. It's usually either 4100K or 6000K (actually 5800K if they are Ultinons) for most Lexus owners. The 7000K+ stuff is usually found on the fixed up Hondas and Acuras.

I'm a purist, Philips 4100K all the way. Clean, white light, brightest, highest visibility--doesn't get any better!
PS: Henry, don't forget about your Xenarc bulbs man, they still in my backseat!
