Default M-a-t-s-u-s-h-i-t-a OEM for Lexus and/or Acura??

I just installed a retro kit that I bought from eautoworks.com last week. The name of the kit is HID PLUS II, and the color temp is claimed to be 7000K. My question is this: on the box they claim that the M-a-t-s-u-s-h-i-t-a ballasts are OEM for Acura and Lexus in Japan. Is there any truth to this? They are also made in Japan according to the package as well.

OEM Lexus ballasts are either Denso or Koito depending on model. RX300 and IS300 are definitely Denso (have taken apart headlights from both) and GS300/400/430 use Koito. Matush|ta (AKA Panasonic) are used in OEM applications, but not Lexus. CATZ and Beloff use these ballasts in their HID conversion systems

thanks for the reply. I guess these folks need to learn how to advertise honestly.

I checked under the hood of a friend's IS300, and they were Denso. I, too, have seen many a Catz/Bellof ad that claims that the ballasts are the same brand used by Lexus/Toyota OEM. I know most European cars I've seen use Hella ballasts, can't speak for Nissan/Infiniti or Honda/Acura from experience.
