Is that the latest trend in the US now? Over here, any import (silvias, 180sx, cant remember which other ones), promptly have the japanese yellow fog lights ripped out in favour of silver items.
To me yellow light = old...

reason for yellow fogs in my opinion is bc if u had the regular white ones on the bottom and then have HID up top it makes the fogs look cheapy...the yellow makes the car look more "expensive" imo

You should be able to buy a yellow bulb. A hand full of CL members have done it. There were a couple of threads on it. I think you should be able to find it pretty fast with a search. I think it looks pretty hot.
It doesnt matter if its old or not but matching HIDs is not very easy with regular halogens. Yellow and white or yellow and blue is a good contrast. No need to match the two and pleasing to the eye.

I have the H3 Gold beam bulbs in my 97 fogs too and they look pretty good from far away....really matches the intensity of my HID's too........check out classicgarage.com under the "Accessories" catagory.

i want my fogs to be yellow. not for show..
It's not really a trend.. JDM cars come stock with them. Thats why you see so many cars in japan with them. Amber/yellow fogs give you a better visibility light on the ground..
I just hope you guys knew that..
in case you are not sure of the difference between a FOG light and a DRIVING light, refer to the pics below:
Foglight beam (amber) is cast wide and low under your normal head lamps, which increases visibility
without reflected glares from rain, fog or snow, back in the driver eyes
Driving light beam (amber) is cast narrow and far Enhancing your normal head lamps to increase visibility for distant viewing.
Like i always say, function over form.
i can care less how good it looks.
