Default can anyone help identify this?!

this plug as been under the rear passenger side seat since I got the car. I'm almost positive it's after market but I just can't figure out what it could be! any guesses would be great thanks

What year? That looks like an SRS connector. They're typically yellow

If I recall correctly, 1993-1994 LS 400 had an SRS module under the rear seat on the right hand side with an access panel, which is where your photo is

I just thought it was odd that it's just sticking out

According to the manual, it's the seatbelt pretensioner check connector for troubleshooting the SRS system on 1993-1994 LS 400s

Reinstall the cap and move the cable back under the seat to be safe

There is supposed to be a cover for that hole, but maybe the SRS system was worked on in the past or someone didn't know what it was

yellow connectors = SRS system as stated. Celsi0r with the confirmation that it's a check connector which should be tucked away!
