Any difference between the mirror assembly of a facelift and prefacelift?
Was going to purchase some custom made mirrors for a 3rd generation LS400 and before I make that purchase I wanted to know if there were any differences between the assemblies themselves (ie: harness, bolt pattern, etc) any help is greatly appreciated

Go here and find the rear view mirrors for each model year and compare the part numbers. This will tell you what you're asking for.
