We did it...2004 LS430
We were looking for SC430 for a while...but then we decided to look for LS430 instead...
Just put down the deposit for 2004 LS430 black/black with premium package...They'll let me know on Monday when to expect the car...
Any suggestion on a set of 18 inch wheels for my new baby, prefer 5 or 7 spokes?

I sent message to manary and gs4will for JDM or IForged wheels. I don't know if any of these work with the tire monitor...
I will probably just get the wheels for now. I kind of like this rear spoiler though:
I asked for this spoiler for my friend and someone said it could be any of these: Modellista / Toms / Auto-Couture / Wald / DAD. If any of you know what is actually on that car or have more close up pictures, please let me know.
BTW, I got $5K off the MSRP. I think it's a good deal, but not sure.

Those wheels are called Lec's RCK's. If your interested in getting some 18's, do your homework. They can be had for $1,400.00 in 18 in. fitment in chrome. Don't overpay for wheels like a LOT of people normally do. This happens because, as I said before, they don't do their homework. I personally think that your LS would look much better with 20's but, we all have our own opinion. The RCK does come in a 20in. fitment and the wheel in manufactured by Enkei. If you don't believe that doing your homework pays off, take this into consideration. I have 20in. Zauber Gettin's in chrome which retail for well over $4,000.00. Everyone I contacted wanted over $4,000.00 for them and I believe that a member of the board purchased some for $3,400.00. I payed $2,650.00 SHIPPED. Take care, Mike

I know there are quite a few people who mod their cars on this board, but those pictures are crazy.
When I see a car like that, I imagine the owner is a 16 year old who has seen the 'The Fast and the Furious' one time too many.
I know people mod their cars for a sense of indiviudalism, but mods are like tatoos: when everyone has them, they stop being unique.

Boy do I agree with THAT! Give me a factory fresh, unaltered look any day. Too many "kids" have too much money to blow and too much time on their hands.

I enjoy the mods. I wouldn't do it on mine but Its been going on since the horse and buggy times. People would order custom coach lamps, and customs wagon wheels etc for the wagons and buggys. Then the 30, 40, 50, 60's etc it will never stop. Some people will always have more money then others. I had two corvettes at the same time in the early 60's. Heck I couldn't pay my bills shouldn't have had even one but I was a car guy and had to have them. HEHE Much better then up the nose and other such nonesense. Sorry just my thoughts.Great comments by all on this forum thanks for sharing with the rest of us.
