Advice on substitute fuel pump

This is just for your information.
The page below shows an example of a JDM 94 Toyota Crown which has a fuel pump control module and the engine can start, but stalls immediately. Thing are all written in Japanese but the Google Translation may help you to understand although there are some strange expressions.

My guess about the used one failing would be that new they are dry as a pump with seals and mechanisms. Once used they get wet with fuel. Then taken out they become dry again waiting to be sold used, and change properties only to become wet with use again. Too many changes.

Well folks, to finish off what I started I am pleased to report that I have received and installed a new Bosch pump and hanger bracket with appropriate SAE J30R10 hose connections together with a good working (used) fuel pump control module and so far it's all working as fine as can be.
Now, as a matter of interest - by plunging my arm into the opening where the pump assy goes I found out that this assembly actually fits into a sort of box like enclosure with its own bottom that had a lot of biggish particles of rust in it that i got out with a syphon and then a rag. Also on the bottom I found an old piece of hose and a hose clip that had obviously fallen in a while back. So that is now properly cleaned out and I am NOT expecting any more trouble from that system at least.
Many thanks to Yamae and all of you other kind folks that made suggestions that all helped me get my car back on the road. I appreciated every one of them.
