1998 ls400 dash needles drop
I have a 1998 lexus ls400 and after 15 minutes driving and all the dash needles drop to 0 and don't come back. I feel it's a temperature thing because if I go shopping for 2 hours the dash works again for 15mins the they drop again.
has anybody got any fix for this or what is going wrong

Unfortunately it's beyond average DIYers to fix. It needs certain skills of electronics to fix it. The photo below is for a JDM 98 Celsior's power supply circuit for the cluster and as you see one of capacitors sleeve is shrunk due to the heat. As I fix clusters, I sometimes find failed parts around here. Some just a capacitor was dying, some regulator IC, ceramic resonator, and some metal coating resistor. Sometimes the regulator IC is oscillating. There are some companies in US to fix your type of problems. I'd fix it for free if you were living within a few miles.
